Royal de Sax is dedicated in Gersdorf to raising Shelties, also known as Shetland Sheepdogs, and German Spitz in a family environment. The puppies spend their first time closely integrated into the home and take part in the family’s daily life. In doing so, they encounter the usual sounds of a household and have the opportunity to get to know their surroundings step by step. The spacious grounds with a courtyard and paddocks offer the young dogs various opportunities for exercise and exploration. They can develop their coordination and gain experience with children of different age groups. They also come into contact with small animals as well as cattle and horses, so a wide variety of impressions shape their everyday lives. Royal de Sax plans a few carefully selected litters. Before the puppies are placed, the breeder values getting to know prospective puppy families and their living situations. On this basis, it can provide support when considering whether a herding or companion dog is suitable and which puppy might fit their everyday life, leisure activities and possible sporting activities.
