vom Drachentöter Hovawart breeder in Hörstel Germany

Vom Drachentöter has been breeding healthy, well-balanced and active Hovawarts for families and shared activities in Hörstel since 1998.

The vom Drachentöter breeding program in Hörstel has been dedicated to the Hovawart breed since 1998. At its heart is the special bond with these dogs, which continues to shape the breeding program’s work to this day. As a member of the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V., the breeding program is focused on the responsible development of its dogs. A key concern is raising healthy, sound-tempered and active Hovawarts. The dogs should prove themselves to be reliable family companions as well as during shared outings and active pursuits. Emphasis is placed on a balanced temperament that suits a versatile everyday life. The feedback from the families who have welcomed a puppy from the breeding program is an important benchmark for vom Drachentöter. It confirms the path taken while also providing inspiration for the breeding work ahead. In this way, the breeding program combines many years of experience with the aim of carefully preparing Hovawarts for their future lives.
