The hobby kennel vom Burgsteinfelsen is based in Schernfeld in the Altmühltal and is dedicated to the Kromfohrländer. The starting point was the arrival of Anka von der Erms in December 2020, which led to a special bond with this breed. This gave rise to the wish to breed Kromfohrländer in a small, family-oriented setting. In 2024, the kennel’s first litter was born: The A-litter comprised eight puppies. Even after the puppies have been placed, the vom Burgsteinfelsen kennel values staying in contact with the families in which the dogs live. The puppies’ further development and the exchange with their new caregivers therefore remain an important part of the breeding commitment. Vom Burgsteinfelsen is a member of the Rassezuchtverein der Kromfohrländer e.V. At the heart of its work are enthusiasm for the Kromfohrländer and contact with other people who appreciate this breed. The kennel presents its development and its commitment to its dogs and maintains communication within the Kromfohrländer community.
