The von der Erms kennel is dedicated to breeding Kromfohrländer in Dettingen an der Erms. The decisive factors in choosing this breed were its friendly nature, medium size and active character. Their eagerness to learn, attachment and close orientation towards people also make these dogs valued family companions. The beginning of the breeding program was marked by the female Enya aus dem Craichgau, who moved into her home in the Ermstal in November 2017. With her, the A-litter was born under the kennel name von der Erms. For Enya, this remained her only litter, thereby concluding her direct role in the breeding program. Amina from the A-litter remained at the kennel. The von der Erms breeding line is being continued with her. The Kromfohrländer therefore remains the focus, with its cuddly, people-oriented and willing-to-learn qualities being particularly valued. The kennel is affiliated with the Rassezuchtverein der Kromfohrländer e.V.
