Vindhøj's Drentsche Patrijshond breeder in Stoholm · Denmark

Vindhøj's breeder of Drentsche Partridge Dog, a pointing hunting dog described as a versatile companion for many forms of hunting. The breeding programme also places emphasis on the breed's qualities as a family dog and bases its work on an established dog line. The foundation of the line is a female that was named Drente of the Year three years in a row. Later, a male from the Netherlands was selected for the line, described as both an excellent hunting dog and family dog. His offspring are part of the ongoing breeding work at Vindhøj's. A female has been selected as heir to the line, and the breeding programme has also acquired a stud dog that has mated with the females. Vindhøj's thus focuses on continuing the line with Drentsche Partridge Dog, where hunting qualities and a well-functioning family life both form part of the assessment of the dogs.
