Unicometa'n Norwich Terrier breeder in Orimattila · Finland

Unicometa'n, based in Orimattila, is a small home kennel that has bred dogs since 1996. The breed listed in its directory is the Norwich Terrier. The background to its breeding work also includes the Collie, whose temperament, beautiful structure and refined behaviour have appealed to the kennel. The kennel has acquired White Swiss Shepherd Dogs from Spain, Australia and Poland. Later, American Hairless Terriers and the coated variety of the breed were added to its breeding programme. Imports have been used to seek a broader gene pool, and the Rat Terrier has also been included in the breeding plans. Unicometa'n considers knowledge of breed characteristics to be only one part of responsible breeding. Its expertise is complemented by studies in training problem dogs and natural animal therapies. The kennel wants to use its knowledge for the well-being of dogs, to support new families and to provide advice on the breeds.
