Von der Alten Mark

The Von der Alten Mark breeding kennel is based in Osterburg in the north of Saxony-Anhalt and is dedicated to the Norwich Terrier. The journey with dogs began as early as 1983 with a Toy Poodle. Later, a West Highland White Terrier and finally Norwich Terriers also enriched family life. After the loss of the West Highland White Terrier, a Norwich Terrier puppy moved in in 2010. Another female dog was added in 2014. From a mating of this female dog arranged with the breeder, a young female from the litter remained with the family. In this way, experience with the breed grew over several years. The long-standing bond with Norwich Terriers led to the decision to establish a small hobby kennel. For the Von der Alten Mark breeding kennel, the dogs are far more than companions in everyday life: They are part of the family and occupy an important place in their shared life.
