Talisman

Talisman is a dog kennel in Hilgermissen whose roots lie in a family passion for dogs that has grown over generations. The kennel name has existed since 1982 and was continued by the current persons responsible in 2023. Experience in breeding, shows, training and dog sports shapes the work of the kennel. The Miniature American Shepherd is at the centre, bred as a versatile partner for everyday life, sporting activities and shows. Talisman places value on balanced dogs and does not orient its breeding towards pure working lines. The number of dogs kept remains deliberately manageable so that each animal can receive individual care. The kennel works according to the requirements of the VDH and the Club für Australian Shepherd Deutschland e.V. The breeding regulations applicable there are voluntarily accepted as a binding framework for its own work. Many years of practical experience with dogs accompany the kennel in the selection and raising of its litters.
