ESPLENDIGOS

Premier Cru is a dog breeding establishment in Hoya dedicated to the Havanese and affiliated with the Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V. Their enthusiasm for dogs has shaped their path for many years. After acquiring a farm in an idyllic location on the Weser, they decided not only to handle dogs in sporting activities, but also to become involved in breeding. Initially, the breeding establishment gained experience with the Gos d’Atura: in 2005, the first female of this breed arrived, and three years later the first litter was born. The Havanese joined the breeding programme in 2010. Its cheerful, lovable nature was just as convincing as its presence at shows; a female from the first Havanese litter also developed promisingly. Due to the war in Ukraine, Premier Cru temporarily took in a Ukrainian breeding establishment with its dogs. The accommodation had been approved in advance by the veterinary authorities, and all the animals were examined after their arrival. In addition to Havanese, this meant that Pomeranians from this breeding establishment were also temporarily present.
