Zergels

Zergels is a small dog breeding kennel in Holle in the northern Harz foothills and occasionally plans litters of Miniature American Shepherds. Everyday life with the dogs combines a love of animals, expertise and an active lifestyle. The breeding programme follows the guidelines of the Club für Australian Shepherd Deutschland e.V. (VDH). The dogs are active in Rally Obedience, Canicross, competitive dog sports and Agility. This is complemented by runs, walks, hikes and trips to the water. Zergels places importance on breed-typical activities that combine exercise and periods of rest in a balanced way; the dogs are also occasionally shown at exhibitions. Health is highly important: The dogs receive regular preventive care, and breeding dogs undergo health assessments beyond the association’s requirements. Before leaving, puppies are examined, given prophylactic care and exposed to a wide variety of cognitive, motor and social experiences. In this way, Zergels creates a foundation for a long and happy life for the dogs.
