Steppenwind’s Borzoi breeder in Niederhambach · Germany

Steppenwind’s is a Borzoi kennel in Niederhambach in the rural Hunsrück near the Hochwald. A deep bond with the breed shapes the breeding work. Two puppies from the first litter remained in the kennel and are included in further planning. The breeding goal is healthy, even-tempered Borzois that conform to the breed standard and preserve their original qualities. These include hunting passion, intelligence, focus and speed. Particular importance is also placed on consistent performance over further generations. The dogs should be social, loyal and reliable and fit into the family at home. At the same time, suitability for national and international beauty championships as well as awards in beauty and performance is sought. Titles already won are understood as confirmation of this breeding approach. Steppenwind’s is affiliated with the DWZRV.
