From the Olympic Mountains has been breeding Shetland Sheepdogs in Gollenberg since 2001. The focus is on the colour varieties Sable-White, Tricolour and Blue Merle. Occasionally, Bicolour puppies in Black-White or Biblue as well as Colour-Headed-White dogs with a coloured head are also available. The puppies grow up in a family environment and get to know children and cats there. To prepare them for their start in their new home, they are dewormed repeatedly, vaccinated and microchipped. When they leave, an EU pet passport and the relevant papers are included. The breeding animals are examined for hip dysplasia and patellar luxation. In addition, attention is paid to freedom from hereditary eye diseases. In this way, the breeding programme combines family-oriented rearing of Shetland Sheepdogs with health examinations of the parent animals.
