Samso Stabyhouns

Samso Stabyhouns is a small dog breeding kennel on Samsø focusing on the stabyhoun breed. The kennel shares knowledge about the breed’s distinctive characteristics and about the work involved in breeding stabyhouns. The kennel has had the breed as part of everyday life since 2014 and thus builds on several years of experience with the dogs. The first litter was born in 2018. Since then, Samso Stabyhouns has collected information about previous litters and presents the kennel’s development as well as the background to its work with the breed. The purpose is to provide insight into the stabyhoun’s place in the breeding programme and into the kennel’s experiences. Samso Stabyhouns was approved as a DKK breeder of stabyhouns in March 2020 and has completed DKK breeder training. The kennel on Samsø is aimed at those who wish to learn more about the breed, its breeding, and the litters the kennel has previously had.
