Stabybuurs Stabyhoun breeder in Solrød Strand · Denmark

Kennel Stabybuurs is a Stabyhoun breeder in Solrød Strand, run by a family with a strong interest in the breed’s qualities as both a family and working dog. The household’s female was born in October 2021 and comes from Samsø Stabyhoun. The breeding programme places emphasis on a loving, curious and stable temperament. In March 2026, the female had her first litter of five male puppies, and the birth proceeded without problems. Frozen semen from a Finnish male dog was used for the mating. The breeding programme has reviewed the parents’ genetic material with a focus on healthy puppies and a combination of calm, courageous and eager-to-work qualities. The female is trained in obedience, hunting and especially tracking, in which she shows great interest. The Finnish male dog is being trained as a rescue dog in Finnish forest terrain. Stabybuurs has completed DKK’s breeder education and prioritises the puppies’ physical and mental well-being from the start. All puppies in this litter have already found families.
