Saga's Gentle Giants

Saga's Gentle Giants is a small breeding kennel in Tarm, focusing on Irish Wolfhounds and Galgo Españols. The kennel got its first Irish Wolfhound in 2014 and has since developed its breeding work based on a strong interest in the breeds and their interaction. The breeding kennel is affiliated with DKK and Myndeklubben and has completed DKK's breeder education. Healthy and versatile lines are a central goal in the breeding, where both physical and mental well-being are highly valued. The breeding dogs are examined, among other things, for heart conditions as well as HD, AD and OCD. The Galgo Español dogs are also DNA-tested for colour and have ECVO eye certificates. Foreign male dogs are also used to preserve a broad genetic background. The dogs have space both indoors and outdoors, as well as daily access to large running areas. The kennel participates in shows and lure coursing, nationally as well as internationally, with dogs that have achieved recognised titles. Puppies leave with a pedigree, EU passport, microchip, vaccinations, health certificate and relevant equipment, and the breeding kennel offers guidance throughout the dog's life.
