PON vom Märkischen Sand Polish Lowland Sheepdog breeder in Erkner · Germany

PON vom Märkischen Sand is a dog breeding kennel in Erkner dedicated to the Polish Lowland Sheepdog, or PON for short. The kennel reported a litter of five puppies born on 15 March 2009; at that time, three animals – one female and two males – were still looking for a new home. The focus is on placing them with responsible families. The kennel’s presentation also explains the characteristics of the PON. This breed is described as family-oriented, attentive and even-tempered. Its suitability as a guard and herding dog, as well as its calm behaviour in the house and apartment, are particularly emphasised. Mentioned are a medium-length, dense coat in various colours and patterns, as well as an initially reserved attitude towards strangers. After getting acquainted, the dog is friendly, eager to learn and resilient. At the same time, it retains its own character and also faces unfamiliar situations calmly.
