The hobby breeding program Nora’s Nizina has existed since 2008 and is based in Wolgast, near the island of Usedom. The breeding program looks back on many years of experience with PONs, which have been part of the family’s everyday life since 1991. In addition to keeping dogs, other animals also shape the family environment of the breeding program. The focus is on carefully planned matings with the aim of raising healthy, even-tempered and breed-typical puppies. The dogs used in the breeding program are examined using the available procedures for hereditary diseases. Nora’s Nizina breeds the Polish Hound and is affiliated with the Allgemeiner Klub für Polnische Hunderassen e.V. The puppies grow up with particular attention to age-appropriate socialisation, loving care and a balanced diet. To ensure a good start in their new home, they are placed only from the ninth to tenth week onwards. Before that, they receive the prescribed preventive measures, are identified, examined by a veterinarian and approved by the breeder.
