The Rhodesian Ridgeback kennel of Tsavo West is located in Hödingen above Überlingen on Lake Constance. The rural home comprises a property of around 4,000 square metres with a small wooded area and offers the dogs plenty of space for exercise and shared activities. The path to establishing their own breeding programme began in 2009 with the first female. With another female, the decision to pursue their own breeding goals matured from 2013 onwards. Following show experience and successfully passing a breeding approval examination, the kennel was officially registered and protected with the FCI in 2016. A third female also joined the pack in 2016. She passed her breeding approval examination in 2019 with top marks in all areas, without restrictions and for life. The kennel name commemorates the father of the three females and permanently incorporates his name into the line. The breeding programme is affiliated with the Club zur Erhaltung der Laufhunde des Südlichen Afrika e.V.
