The of Conventgarden kennel is located in Groß Ippener in Lower Saxony, not far from Bremen. There, the kennel is home to an environment with dogs, cats and horses. Since 2014, the establishment has been dedicated to the Curly Coated Retriever; since 2024, this kennel name has been operated independently. The Curly Coated Retriever is considered the oldest, largest and at the same time rarest of the retriever breeds. The of Conventgarden kennel places this exceptional breed at the centre and appreciates its special character. Previously, Curly Coated Retrievers were bred under another kennel name until 2022. Since 2025, the Mudi has also been part of the breeding programme. This Hungarian herding dog breed is likewise valued for its independent and unusual nature. The of Conventgarden kennel presents both breeds as special companions.
