The Highland Gamekeeper... kennel is located in Alfeld in the Leinebergland. Curly Coated Retrievers live on a small farm in a family environment with dogs and horses. Experience with dogs dates back to 1993 and began with the first representative of this breed. Later, a Golden Retriever and several Labrador Retrievers were added. Today, a brown, nine-year-old Labrador and a female Curly-Coated Retriever belong to the household. Many years of keeping different Retrievers form the background of the breeding program. The focus is on healthy, even-tempered and enthusiastic-to-work Curly Coated Retrievers. The breeding program follows the breed standard of the Deutscher Retriever Club and the VDH. The puppies are raised close to the family and in a rural environment; the kennel is affiliated with the Deutscher Retriever Club e.V.
