Lion Sands

Lion Sands is dedicated to breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks with a deep commitment to the breed. The focus is on health, a balanced temperament, genetic diversity and a functional conformation. As a small kennel, Lion Sands deliberately prioritizes careful planning over high litter numbers and is affiliated with the Deutsche Züchtergemeinschaft Rhodesian Ridgeback e.V. For raising the puppies, the kennel creates the best possible conditions for good development. Even after the puppies leave, Lion Sands remains available to the new families as a contact. Each litter is intended to be born under suitable conditions and is not planned based on short-term demand or current trends. The breed standard of the Rhodesian Ridgeback is decisive for breeding decisions. Quality and responsibility take precedence over quantity. Lion Sands’ next litter is planned for spring or summer 2026.
