La Chighana

La Chighana is a dog kennel in Tureby with Labrador Retriever as its registered breed. The kennel became affiliated with FCI/DKK in 2002 and has previously also worked with Chihuahua. The kennel is not currently active. Over the years, La Chighana has bred Chihuahuas that have achieved fine results at shows both in Denmark and abroad. For Labrador Retriever, the focus has been on dogs with breed type, health and a willingness to work, while also functioning as family dogs. La Chighana's interest has since turned to Australian Silky Terrier. In the longer term, breeding this breed may be considered, but there is currently no active breeding. The information therefore describes the kennel's previous experience and its current pause from breeding.
