Black Labarrows Labrador Retriever breeder in Køge · Denmark

Black Labarrows is a small Labrador Retriever kennel in Køge, where dogs have been bred since 2002 with a focus on hunting, field trials and family life. Experience with the breed dates back to 1997, and the breeding programme is based on a limited number of litters, when time and a suitable bitch have allowed it. In the breeding work, emphasis is placed on speed, style and the ability to find game, together with intelligence, willingness to cooperate and a stable temperament. The aim is Labrador Retrievers that work with joy, can settle down when needed and are suitable both as working and trial dogs and as family dogs. The puppies come from hunting lines and therefore seek active homes. They are exposed to various stimuli early on and temperament-tested at six to seven weeks of age. At around eight weeks, they are socialised, eager for contact and well on their way to becoming house-trained; they have also been introduced to recall, the lead and gunfire.
