Ankerstrædes

Ankerstrædes is a dog breeder in Tureby focusing on Broholmer. The breeding programme is currently on hold, but the work is based on a desire to contribute to the preservation of the breed and maintain its distinctive characteristics. The goal is healthy, breed-typical Broholmers. The first Broholmer came to Ankerstrædes in 2019. Before the interest centred on Broholmer, the breeding programme had experience with German Shepherds, including service dogs in the Danish Air Force over 28 years. This background is part of the breeding programme’s experience with dogs. Ankerstrædes has completed DKK breeder training and DKK masterclass. With the Broholmer as the focal point, emphasis is placed on the breed’s health, type and continued preservation. The breeding programme is based in Tureby.
