The dokhyi-dubei kennel in Friedrichsthal is dedicated to breeding Do Khyi, also known as Tibetan Mastiffs. The focus is on a breed-typical, original dog that closely follows the Tibetan model. The breeding program deliberately does not pursue short-lived trends toward particularly large, heavy, long-haired, or intensely colored dogs, but rather a balanced appearance. When selecting breeding stock, the kennel pays attention to robust health. The bitches have also achieved above-average results at dog shows. Comprehensive socialization of the dogs is given particularly high priority during rearing. In addition to Do Khyi, Tibetan Spaniels are also part of everyday life at the kennel. The small, lively dogs complement living together with the large Tibetan dogs. dokhyi-dubei is affiliated with the International Club for Tibetan Dog Breeds e.V. and follows a breeding approach focused on consistency rather than changing fashions.
