Niwa carwa ...

Niwa carwa is a breeding program for Tibetan Mastiffs (Do Khyi) in Havelland. Four dogs live there as permanent members of the family and are closely integrated into everyday life. Kennel housing is not part of the concept; closeness and reliable coexistence are what matter. The breeding goal is the original, functional Do Khyi. Rather than particularly large, heavy or extremely hairy animals, sure-footedness in rough terrain, weather resistance and natural watchfulness without aggression are the priorities. Excellent health results and temperament tests with top ratings are stated for all dogs. Intensive socialization is highly valued at Niwa carwa and accompanies the dogs’ development. The breeding program is affiliated with the International Club for Tibetan Dog Breeds e.V. and combines its breeding work with the aim of preserving the breed’s original characteristics.
