Kju ay’s is a small, dedicated hobby kennel for Whippets in Oranienburg. Since 2012, the breeding establishment has focused on this elegant sighthound breed. It is affiliated with the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV) and follows the described breed standard in raising its puppies. As a rule, one litter is expected per year; only in special cases can there be two litters. The breeding establishment is dedicated to the careful raising of Whippet puppies that correspond to the type and characteristics of the breed. Information about the development of the breeding programme and the Whippets is also presented in a blog. The Whippet is described as a medium-sized, graceful sighthound whose joy in movement and running is particularly evident outdoors. In the home environment, on the other hand, it is considered calm, uncomplicated and very affectionate. This combination of sporting passion and closeness makes the breed particularly fascinating to the breeding establishment.
