Kennel härdellin Schapendoes breeder in Lahti · Finland

Kennel Härdellin is a small-scale, family-oriented schapendoes breeder based in Lahti, established in 2011. The breeding work focuses on the schapendoes breed, which belongs to the FCI herding dog group. The aim is to produce healthy, balanced dogs that conform to the breed standard, while taking the breed’s breeding guidelines into account. The dogs and puppies live as part of everyday home life without separate kennel facilities. They get used to people, the usual sounds of the home and daily handling. Efforts are also made to familiarise the puppies with various environments. The dogs participate in shows and agility, and are part of ordinary family life. The breeder has completed the basic breeder course and belongs to the breed club as well as a local dog breeders’ association. New puppy owners are provided with information about the breed and association activities. The dogs’ diet is based on natural, species-appropriate nutrition. The kennel offers its dogs and their owners support and advice in different situations in life.
