SheepSchap is a small-scale breeder of Schapendoes in the Copenhagen area. Although the profile is linked to Fejø, the litters stay around Copenhagen. The breeder has 28 years of experience with the breed, and the dogs live closely together with the family. The breed’s charming expression, joy in working and inventiveness are central qualities. Training and active time with the dogs are a major part of life at SheepSchap. The focus is primarily on obedience, but also on rally and NW, while shows are used to obtain a professional assessment of the dogs’ strengths and weaknesses. The breeder participates with dogs at several levels within obedience. The goal is to breed Schapendoes puppies that are healthy, social, beautiful and willing to work, with temperament and conformation in balance. SheepSchap places emphasis on the breed’s working abilities and appearance going hand in hand. Puppy buyers can receive ongoing guidance throughout the dog’s life and have the opportunity to stay in contact with others from the same litter.
