Kawan-schah

Kawan-schah breeds Salukis in Rheinbrohl and keeps the dogs in a home environment rather than in a traditional kennel facility. For a litter, the breeder temporarily sets up a nursery in the living room so that the puppies become familiar with everyday sounds and routines from the very beginning and receive attentive care. From around the fourth week, a puppy area is also available on the covered terrace and the adjacent lawn. Different surfaces, toys and impressions from the natural surroundings encourage early acclimatization to the world outside the house. These include, among other things, water, tunnels, sand and balls. At around nine to twelve weeks of age, the puppies are dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and handed over with papers from the DWZRV, FCI and VDH. Kawan-schah places them exclusively with responsible, sighthound-appropriate families and supports future owners with many years of sighthound experience in questions concerning health, training and nutrition.
