Elazad

Elazad is dedicated to breeding Salukis in northern Hesse near Bad Arolsen. The fascination with these sighthounds has existed for many years and is rooted in their special charisma, their beauty and the breed’s original character. The focus is on appreciating lovable, independent Salukis. The breeding program was established at the end of 2021, after the breeder examination and registration had already taken place in 2020. Elazad is affiliated with the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV) and follows a responsible selection of the dogs used. The breeding program is guided by the breed-specific characteristics of the Saluki. Before a mating, the breeder’s own breeding dogs undergo comprehensive cardiological examinations. An unremarkable cardiac ultrasound is also a prerequisite for selected stud partners. Only healthy, even-tempered dogs that conform to the breed standard are used for breeding.
