Jagtlystens breeding of Kleiner Münsterländer in Tjæreborg aims to breed well-functioning dogs for both hunting and family life. The focus is on physically and mentally robust dogs that are easy to train, and on finding the right dog for each individual family or handler. The choice of stud dog is based on extensive examinations, and the kennel also travels far when a male dog is considered a good contribution to breeding and to the breed’s genetic diversity. Breeding is planned in dialogue with the breeding advisory service of Dansk Münsterländer Klub and in accordance with the club’s stricter guidelines on inbreeding. Jagtlystens has completed DKK's breeder education. The puppies get a versatile start with encounters with children and elderly people, as well as acclimatization to various sounds, blood scent and game. The kennel emphasizes giving them the best possible foundation from the start and continues to offer guidance on training, showing and other questions after they have moved to their new homes.
