Jagthyttens Dachshund breeder in Esbjerg · Denmark

Jagthyttens is a dog breeder in Esbjerg with Norwegian Buhund and Small Münsterländer. For the breeding programme, the Small Münsterländer is a versatile dog that is intended to combine hunting abilities, willingness to cooperate and a well-functioning family life. The breeding work aims for dogs that are easy to train and thrive both on the hunt and at home. The puppies stay in a home environment during their first eight weeks, so they get a good foundation for social development. From their first day of life, they are gradually introduced to scents from the game they may encounter later. This early acclimatisation is intended to contribute to calm, harmonious hunting dogs with a solid imprinting. Jagthyttens also wishes to introduce new and interesting genetic lines into Danish breeding. The puppies are placed with hunters and people interested in hunting sports. The selection of breeding dogs and matings follows the applicable breeding regulations of the Danish Kennel Club and the Danish Münsterländer Club.
