Hvirvelvinden Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder in Helsinge · Denmark

Hvirvelvinden is a dog breeder in Helsinge focusing on Rhodesian Ridgeback, the breed also known as the African Lion Hound. The breeding programme is characterised by thoughtfulness and warmth and has completed DKK’s breeder education. Work is carried out to give each dog a good starting point from the very beginning through the breeding work. When prospective parent dogs are selected and matched, Hvirvelvinden places particular emphasis on a stable temperament, health, the breed’s expression, willingness to cooperate and a good disposition. These qualities are included in the breeding programme’s assessment of the combinations and form the basis for planning future litters. The puppies are prepared for everyday life in a family through the Puppy Culture programme, ENS and nutrition based on knowledge. They also receive time, care and close attention during their first period of life. At present, no Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies are planned at Hvirvelvinden.
