Hovawart-Leistungszucht von der Wassernixe Hovawart breeder in Friedersbach · Austria

The Hovawart performance breeding kennel von der Wassernixe is located in Friedersbach in the Waldviertel (Lower Austria), near Zwettl. The hobby kennel was founded in 2002 and is run by a family team: Susanne with her husband Fritz, her daughter Janina and her granddaughter Sophie. The enthusiasm for the breed began in 1996 with the family’s first Hovawart; since 2018, the family has lived in a country house with a large garden. The main focuses are promotion, training and, above all, tracking work; successes at international tracking world championships and Austrian Hovawart championships are documented. Susanne has been an ÖKV trainer for puppies and obedience since 2002. The website names the Hovawart Zuchtverein (HZV) as the breed club and lists its own puppy nursery. – Breeding females: Penelope, Nima, Kurkuma and Ishtar The litters are documented from A to S.
