von der Urschlagquelle Hovawart breeder in Halfing Germany

Von der Urschlagquelle is a Hovawart breeding kennel in Halfing, whose dogs are kept and trained as family and sport dogs.

The Hovawart breeding program von der Urschlagquelle in Halfing is based on experience gained since 2004 with a black-and-tan Hovawart. After he had fulfilled the requirements for use as an HZD stud dog, the desire for a breeding facility of their own arose. In 2008, a female was added, which gave birth to the A-litter at the end of 2010. Two dogs from this first litter remained in the breeding program. One of the females was later recognized as a VDH/HZD breeding female and gave birth to the B-litter in May 2014. The breeding facility is affiliated with the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. and builds on work with recognized breeding dogs. The Hovawarts live in a house with a garden in a small community near Lake Chiemsee. They are integrated into family life and accompany the breeding facility during various activities. In addition, they are trained at the dog training grounds in obedience, tracking work and protection work. A C-litter was planned for spring 2016.
