The GOLEM kennel in Zittau has existed since 1971 and is shaped by an attachment to dogs that has grown over many years. The animals are regarded as an integral part of the family environment. This long-standing experience forms the background to today’s breeding work.
Over the course of its history, the kennel devoted itself to several breeds: Miniature Schnauzers, Shih Tzu, Russian Toys and Great Danes. By now, GOLEM is fully focused on the Border Collie. This breed is now at the centre of the breeding programme.
The name GOLEM is found among dogs that achieved national and international champion titles, including American and Puerto Rican titles. The kennel belongs to the Club für Britische Hütehunde and combines many years of breeding experience with specialisation in Border Collies.
