The vom Klingstein dog breeding establishment in Zittau follows the breeding and association regulations of the Deutscher Rassehund Club e.V. in Soltau. Its breeding objective is to produce healthy, even-tempered Labradors that combine the valued qualities of a family and working dog. The association’s requirements and the well-being of the dogs are the central focus.
Puppies may go to experienced dog handlers who, for example, are involved in dummy work, hunting or rescue services. Active people without retriever experience are also considered, provided they wish to integrate their Labrador into everyday life and family life and encourage its abilities.
The raising of each litter is supported jointly and understood as a particularly responsible period. During the first eight weeks, the puppies receive plenty of attention. Moving to their new home is planned at around eight to ten weeks of age.
