The von der Sam-Weide dog breeding kennel in Lengenfeld is dedicated to the Border Collie. The small kennel in the Vogtland region is shaped by several bitches from its own lines. The Border Collies from the kennel are successfully represented at shows. Breeding successes include German Champion titles awarded by both the VDH and the club. Von der Sam-Weide is a member of the Club für Britische Hütehunde e.V.
