Fibula German Spitz breeder in Espoo · Finland

Fibula is a small-scale breeder of German Spitz dogs operating in a home environment. The work focuses on one dog breed, and litters are born as part of ordinary home life. The limited scope of the breeding and the home conditions are a central part of Fibula’s approach to breeding. In breeding selections, the dogs’ health and good temperament are emphasised. Only individuals that meet these basic criteria are used as the parents of litters. Thus, the parents’ characteristics are an essential part of planning litters at Fibula. Fibula also takes into account the conditions set by the breed association for breeding dogs. According to the breeder, litters are produced so that their parents meet the requirements defined by the association. The overall approach is therefore based on small-scale home breeding, while taking into account health, temperament and the breed’s breeding guidelines.
