del Somni Catala Catalan Sheepdog breeder in Kamen · Germany

The del Somni Catala kennel has been dedicated to the Berger Catalan, also called Gos d’Atura Català, since 1998. After relocating to the more rural surroundings of Kamen, the dogs continue to live together as a family. The kennel is affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. The breeder’s knowledge is based on many years of breeding work, activities in dog sports and at shows, as well as specialist seminars, literature and visits to Spanish kennels. The dogs are presented at shows by the breeder; experience with the particular traits of different characters and sexes also informs the advice provided. The puppies grow up as part of everyday family life and are accustomed to different situations from an early age. For them, del Somni Catala seeks responsible families who will provide a Berger Catalan with species-appropriate care and careful training. Offspring prove themselves as family dogs as well as in sport, breeding and at shows.
