Eau de Joie Barbet breeder in Hijum · Netherlands

Eau de Joie is a Barbet kennel in Hijum. The love for this dog breed forms the basis of a small-scale breeding program, in which a litter is born only occasionally. The well-being of the dogs and careful preparation are central to this. For breeding, dogs are selected based on their health, character and conformity to the breed standard. Eau de Joie also pays attention to genetic variation and a responsible inbreeding percentage, with the aim of contributing to the preservation of a healthy Barbet population. The kennel operates according to the certification of the Raad van Beheer. The puppies grow up indoors and receive plenty of care, attention and affection during their first stage of life. Eau de Joie gets to know potential owners in advance in order to learn about their situation and preferences. This information helps to find a suitable new home for each puppy and to ensure that the allocation of the litter proceeds thoughtfully.
