Du Val De Chauffour Irish Red Setter breeder in Pécy · France

Du Val De Chauffour is a professional dog kennel established in Pécy. It is dedicated to two pointing dog breeds: the Gordon Setter and the Irish Red Setter. Its activity, begun in 1986, reflects long-standing experience with these two varieties of setters. The management of the bloodlines aims to preserve dogs that conform to the characteristics expected for each breed. The kennel therefore gives a central place to the standard in its selection guidelines, both for the Gordon Setter and the Irish Red Setter. Some breeding dogs are presented at dog shows. These participations allow Du Val De Chauffour to compare its selection with the criteria of the standard. They complement the monitoring of the bloodlines carried out to maintain their closeness to the characteristics specific to each of the two breeds raised.
