vom Hochsimmer

Vom Hochsimmer is a dog kennel in the volcanically shaped East Eifel. The family’s long-standing bond with its dogs began in 1977 with the adoption of a first female dog and led to the first homebred litters three years later. Several elegant dogs emerged from this early breeding program. After an interruption lasting several years, the enthusiasm for breeding remained. In 2009, another male dog moved in, followed by a female dog in 2015, who developed into a proud and expressive representative. Careful basic training, a passed temperament test and health examinations formed the basis for continuing the breeding program. The female dog was already presented at shows in the junior class and received the title Club Winner in 2019. Shared trips to the sea or the mountains were just as much a part of her everyday life as exercise and play in the spacious garden. Vom Hochsimmer is affiliated with the Irish-Setter-Club Deutschland e.V. and is dedicated to the Irish Terrier.
