DK La Mia Vita Maine Coon breeder in Esbjerg · Denmark

DK La Mia Vita is a small-scale Maine Coon cattery in Esbjerg. The cattery is based in a house with an enclosed garden, and its modest size forms part of its profile. The work is focused on one breed and on continuing the Maine Coon with attention to the breed’s characteristic traits. Health is clearly part of the work with the breeding cats. Before a cat is used for breeding, it is DNA-tested for hereditary diseases and also undergoes a heart scan. The examinations are a regular part of the cattery’s approach and support the goal of healthy cats. The goal at DK La Mia Vita is to breed Maine Coon cats that combine health, a breed-typical appearance and good socialisation. The cattery therefore places emphasis on both health considerations and the cats’ social development. DK La Mia Vita also participates from time to time in various cat shows.
