Brucklay Dogs

Brucklay Dogs is a dog breeder based in Peterhead, specialising in Golden Retrievers and Labradoodles. Drawing on 20 years of breeding experience, the kennel began with pedigree retriever lines before also working with considered crosses. It holds Aberdeenshire Council certification. The breeding programme places particular emphasis on health and temperament. Female dogs are retired from breeding at six years of age, and their family backgrounds are known across several generations. Stud dogs brought into the programme are health tested to help introduce new bloodlines responsibly. Brucklay Dogs notes that its crossbred dogs can be particularly calm companions, an attribute appreciated by some families with children or teenagers who have additional needs. Ongoing help is offered to puppy homes, including a dedicated WhatsApp group for each litter as well as individual support.
