Bournonville Kromfohrländer breeder in Brøndby Strand Denmark

Bournonville in Brøndby Strand breeds smooth-haired Kromfohrländers according to the German breeding program, with a focus on conformation, health and temperament.

Bournonville is a kennel breeding smooth-haired Kromfohrländers based in Brøndby Strand. The kennel’s history began in 2015, when a male dog from Germany became part of the household. In 2017, a female from Denmark followed, whose parents were German, and these dogs became the starting point for the interest in the breed. The breeding follows the German breeding programme, which places emphasis on conformation, health and temperament. At the same time, the aim is to contribute new blood and new lines in Denmark. Bournonville has completed DKK breeder training and DKK masterclass as part of its work with the breed. Bournonville is a member of Rassezuchtverein der Kromfohrländer, Dansk Kennel Klub and Klubben for Små Selskabshunde. When placing puppies, the kennel prefers families that have previously owned a dog or otherwise know the responsibility involved in keeping a dog.
