Bloodhound & Grand Basset

Bloodhound & Grand Basset is a hobby breeding establishment based in Globasnitz, whose operation has official approval from the Province of Carinthia. The breeding establishment works with the Greyhound and Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen breeds and focuses its work on responsible conditions. The breeding establishment is affiliated with the Austrian Kennel Club (ÖKV) and the Austrian Basset Club. Its dogs are registered in the official ÖKV studbook, integrating the breeding work into the structures of Austrian pedigree dog breeding. To support the breeding program, the dogs are examined both by a veterinarian and by the responsible breeding warden. Particular attention is paid to appropriate keeping conditions and the animals’ health. These controlled conditions characterize the hobby breeding establishment.
