The of Pondcastle kennel in Bleiburg/Pliberk is dedicated to Labrador Retrievers from working lines. Its breeding follows the strict requirements of the Österreichischen Retrieverclubs, the Österreichischen Kynologenverbands and the Fédération Cynologique Internationale. The puppies move to their new homes from the ninth week of life. By then, they are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and examined by a veterinarian. They receive an EU pet passport as well as an FCI pedigree. Before they leave, they are also familiarized with various everyday situations and travelling by car. of Pondcastle selects future owners with great care and maintains a waiting list. Telephone contact is provided for information about the breeding program and applications for a puppy. In this way, the kennel combines an organized allocation process with the thoroughly prepared placement of the young dogs.
