Aus der Arahöhle breeds Hovawarts in Kempen and is affiliated with the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. Hovawarts have been part of the breeding operation's everyday life since 1995, and breeding under this name has existed since 2000. The aim is to breed strong, medium-sized dogs with proportions conforming to the standard as well as suitable coat structure and coat length. The health requirements of VDH and HZD are observed.
The Hovawarts live in the house and are closely integrated into family life. The whelping box is also located in the living area so that the mother dog and puppies can take part in everyday life from the very beginning. As soon as the puppies become more active, a large puppy garden with various play and environmental stimuli is available to them. Contact with people of different ages complements this early socialisation.
The rearing takes into account the versatile qualities of the Hovawart as a family, sport and working dog. Further training as well as exchanges with other breeders and stud dog owners are incorporated into the work. Aus der Arahöhle assists with the selection of a suitable puppy and remains interested in the life journey of the dogs bred even after they have been placed. A responsible decision in favour of a dog is the main priority.
